Try the Vista driver-it usually works in Win 7:

i have HP pavilion zv5000
S/N[Personal Information Removed]
P/N PS628EA#B1A
pentium 4 3,4ghz, 1,25 gb of ram
ati mobility radeon 9000/9100 igp and
after win 7 installation i got this messages
other devices
Base System Device
PCI bus 2, device 4, function 2
the drivers for this device are not insalled.(code 28)
sound, video and game controllers realtek AC'97 audio
PCI bus 0, device20, function 5
the device cannot start.(code 10)

Hi:
There are no Vista or W7 drivers that I know of for the card reader in your notebook.
Try the XP driver. It may install. If it does the card reader may or may not work.
Try the W7 Realtek AC-97 audio driver directly from Realtek. First file listed.

I understand you are having issue with the PCI controller on your Windows 7 computer.
