I am in exactly same shoes as Paulanator, except  I got m6-1125dx. Can't find any drivers 😞

I'm having the same problem finding WIN  7 drivers for my HP ENVY m6-1125dx.

I was able to get the hardware id's for everything that wasn't installing and here they are:

OK:

Since the last two of you folks have the same model, these drivers would apply for both of you:

Chipset.  Install first and reboot.

If your notebook has bluetooth, then you also need the Ralink bluetooth driver.

I think that covers it but if you are missing anything else, please (re)post the hardware ID's.

Happy downgrading!

You're very welcome.

This should be the W7 64 driver for the Intel 4000 video:

Paul, thank you so much. Everything is working great!

You're very welcome.

Glad to have been of assistance.

Hi Paul,

I have a new issue now. The touchpad won't work. It seems like after using an external mouse, it stops working. I've tried uninstalling external mouse drivers with no luck. Uninstalling the touchpad drivers resolves the issue, but after restart windows seems to automatically reinstall them.

As always, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:

You got me on that one.

Did you try the latest touchpad drivers from the synaptics website?

They are a newer version than the ones on the notebook's support and driver page.

http://www.synaptics.com/resources/drivers

That is about all I can offer in the way of assistance.

Not sure why I haven't tried this right away. Works flawlessly now.

Thanks a bunch Paul!
