HP Recommended

I ran a recommended HP Update last night, and when I returned this morning, I no longer can see my taskbar, and the toolbar at the top of the screen only appears if I hover over it with the mouse.  At this point, without a taskbar, I cannot access WIndows 7 help nor any other programs, and I don't even know how I will be bale to shut down the computer.  Help, please!

HP Recommended

If you place the cursor down at the very bottom of the display the taskbar should appear. Right-click it and select properties. A window like in the following image should appear.

Hover the cursor over the toolbar ( that you referenced in your post) at the top of the screen and select properties there should be viewing options for you to choose from there as well.

i have no taskbar  tried system   restore  but  that didn't  work
