Hi I am missing a device driver, and my keyboard stops working randomly at times and I need to restart to make it work again. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi:

I doubt installing this driver will fix the keyboard issue but it will allow the card reader to work.

I am facing exactly the same issue on exactly same hardware. I was also missing the same driver. I have just installed the missing driver, I hope it fixes once for all.

Update: Issue still exists.

This does not fix the problem; what is it with you guys?  This is your product.

I repeat the Alcor Smart Card Driver does not fix this issue, nor does it make the smart card reader work correctly.  If I put a disk in the smart card reader is totally screws up my computer + I still have a base system device error on PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 2, device 0, function 0).

Totally fix the problem by providing a hard location to the solution that won't move a week from now, so when the next person needs the issue resolved, they don't get dumped on the main HP driver support page.  DO YOUR JOB!
