i recently upgraded my DV6- laptop to windows 7 pro and wireless driver cannot be installed. i have checked based on info of a previous blog and the network controller hardware id is: PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_539F&SUBSYS_1637103C&REV_00

i searched for the driver with no luck.

can somebody advise where i can get the driver and what settings i need to change in order to activate the wireless controler.

Hi Kostas,

First of all, download and install the Chipset driver on the link below.

Chipset Driver - Windows 7.

When the installation has completed, restart the notebook.

When windows has fully reloaded, download and install the WLAN driver on the following link.

Ralink WLAN Driver - Windows 7.
