Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After installing windows 10 the SD card reader won't work. I contacted Microsoft..they fixed other issues but said HP drivers had to be updated to read the SD cards.  Please help. I am a professional photographer and HAVE to use SD cards!

What is the full model number of your notebook?

 

Most of the newer pavilion notebooks come with a Realtek card reader, so try the first driver on the list from the link below.

I had the same problem after upgrading to Windows 10. Downloading the realtek driver worked for my  HP H8-1240T 64 bit system. Thanks!

I am not computer savy AT ALL. I downloaded the realtek program and extracted all files .... now what? It still isn't working.

3. Error message (if any)
• Example: ""Low disk space"" error in Windows
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred
