Pavillion 15-n287cl

Hello,

I own an HP-Pavillion 15-n287cl touchscreen laptop.  I updated my operating system today to windows 10, but after finishing the update my touchscreen dosen't seem to work. In fact it is not even reognized under the human interfaces tab in the device manager. I have tried intaling the HP drivers from the support assistant and the website but it still dosen't work. Any help on this would be much appreciated. regards.

you took backup before updating windows 10????

Obviously files were all backed up, but I fail to see what that has to do with windows 10 causing the tough screen to stop working?

I think this should be a driver problem.

I think so. I'm on the support site now letting it identify my system and then look for updated drivers.

I am currently seeing "HP is compiling your results. This could take up to 3 minutes, depending on your computer and connection speed. Thank you for your patience.

Its been 10 mins so far. Its useless

Have you used the HP PC Diagnostics components test to verify that the touchscreen is still operational?

Press the power button and then tap the Esc key to invoke the startup menu. In the startup menu press the F2 key to invoke the Diagnostics. Choose component tests and then Touchscreen test.
