Update to windows 8.1

Hi,

i m using HP envy dv6 with bluray disc powered by cyberlink with windows 8 and there is a windows update to 8.1,

confused to update or not because at first it wont be supporting all the apps, it also says to play dvd you need to

install the driver to play it, does they mean cyberlink wont work with that update and there are few complaining about

the display saying display changes a bit in terms clarity.....need help what all you people think about the update, keeping

in mind lack of driver support at first.
