When I start up my laptop it first goes thru disk checking, then goes to start page, abox comes up that says cannot log on users profile logging on as guest using default, configuration registry is corrupt, then goes to welcome screen, goes to desktop with a red screen, then before it is done loading it goes to a screen that says sorry windows detected a problem and had to shut down to protect the computer, at the bottum of this page it has this
Then at the end of the page it says dumping physical memory, then something else flashes on the page but before I can read that it starts to reboot all over again. Any ideas on what is going on?

Several things can cause this, anything from file system corruption to a failing hard drive.
I would back up your importatant data ASAP, before you try any troubleshooting or repairs.
Let me know when you data is backed up to another storage device.

I don't have an external drive or any other way to back up anything. There is nothing on this drive that I can not replace so if it does errase anything then I am fine.

Run a chkdsk on the hard drive, see instruction in the link below
After chkdsk is done, restart, see if it will load windows now.

The laptop will not compleatly go to the desktop. Before you can do anything on the desktop it goes to a screen that says windows has shut down.

yes I read them. But I have no cd and I can not do the check from the desktop. Also it does the check automatically but does not change anything.
