Re: Windows 8 Scanning to pdf

Hey narrowboatwilli,

In the Windows Store, you can get a free app called HP Scan & Capture which will do just that!

Re: Windows 8 Scanning to pdf

Hi. Until December I could scan a textual sheet to PDF then, later, open it in WORD and edit it. Now The PDF just opens as pictures, text not accessible.

I can open and save as DOCX PDF docs made elsewhere, and ones that were created in WORD, but not when scanned on the 5520.

Am I missing something.

BTW, HP15 and HP 5520 are really enjoyable to work with. Apart from this!

Re: Windows 8 Scanning to pdf

I just checked out HP Scan and Capture. I did not like the eviews, so unless this has changed I don't want to load it.
