XP drivers for dv4-1117nr

Does anyone know where I can find them?

I need drivers for the wireless, network adapter, and intel GMA4500HMD onboard graphics, and quick play buttons, and if there is a place

for all of them, it would be great. I didn't now how to find the hardware ID.

The ones here did not work

Thanks a lot for you reply. I forgot to mention I have XP pro X64 edition.

The Intel graphics driver didn't work, It said (http://tinyurl.com/6xddpe)

"This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software. Setup will exit"

I did download the x64 version of the .net and installed it correctly.

These are the questions marks I'm still getting in the device manager apart from the graphics driver

Re: XP drivers for dv4-1117nr

I apologize for not mentioning it's x64, I know it's very important detail. And thanks for the link, I was not able to

find it  becuase I didn't know what kind of chipset I had. I tried using the Chipset Identification Utility but It wasn't able

to identify,it said, "Failed." The Dv4XXX manual didn't help me much either. Thanks for you help.

Re: XP drivers for dv4-1117nr

XP 32bit is difficult to get drivers working on these laptops_64bit is almost impossible.

You do not have Realtek Audio..and there are no XP drivers for IDT Audio. Some have used the Vista driver with sucess.

MS UAA(required with a reboot before IDT):

IDT High-Definition Audio:

Re: XP drivers for dv4-1117nr

Thanks for you help Cheryl, The IDT driver did not work. I tried the Vista driver as well, but it says "This is not the correct driver for this system." Is there a way I can bypass the installation process and just install/place the actual driver file?

Re: XP drivers for dv4-1117nr

The driver should have extracted to C:\SwSetup\SP39671.

From Device Manager, right click "Audio Device on High Def Bus",choose Update driver,

No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to C:\SwSetup\SP39671and choose the ".inf".
Ignore XP when it complains.
Reboot.
