Still trying to install Windows 7 Upgrade to my HP Pavilion dvb6500 notebook using Vista sp2.
Still having the same issue. I would much prefer an upgrade install over a clean install...
I have reinstalled the Verisoft Access Manager software, uninstalled it (multiple times), deleted the VSAM folder, and still get the same error from Windows during the installation process indicating that I need to remove Verisoft Access Manager in order to proceed.
During one of my marathon sessions with Microsoft Windows support, the technician indicated that he thought there might be something embedded in the bios...
Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do clean install of Windows 7 and this problem will disappear.
