hi

I have HP Palilion dv6338se and I am looking for ACPI\HPQ00 06 driver support for window 7 and Vista.

would you please help me out. My wireless bottom is amber and is not working. The only unknown device in device manager is ACPI\HPQ00 06 so I assume this is the problem. If you have any info , please share with me. thanks

Check is your wireless card detected in device manager. How to do it? Go to:

Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Network cards

is your wireless listed there? If it's not then this is problem with hardware.

Don't worry.

According to HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement which You may find here your model (dv6338se with part number - RV009UA) is eligible for a free repair.

Please contact with HP and tell them about this situation. How to do it all informations here (just choose Your country).

Please don't upgrade to Windows 7 until this problem will be solved. HP may tell You then they will not solve your problem until Vista will be installed on it.

All drivers for Windows 7 and a lot of informations You will find in below guide:

Windows 7 Upgrade Guide for dv6000/dv9000 models
