I have an HP Pavilion laptop that's having the same issue. When I turn it on it's asking for an "administrator password or power on password". After three tries it gives me:
"System Disabled" 60751872
Can anyone help me with this?

Mine is locked with an administrator password, it is a nc8230, when I enter the wrong pw 3 times, it just sits there, it does not give me any code. It just has a little asteriks looking symbol uner the last key.
