I recently purchased a HP ENVY 15t-j100 Select Edition CTO Notebook PC through a VAR and installed some programs. In the process, I unwittingly installed a couple of malware/adware programs. I'm trying to weed those out.
I found two applications inst5675.msi and inst5676.msi in the C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\SimplePass folder and Powershell detected these as installed programs. These are published by Softex Inc.
Are inst5675.msi and inst5676.msi valid msi programs?
Thanks.
