help, my touchpad isnt working on my presario cq57, i think my daughter disabled it but no idea how!!

you need to continously tap the upper left corner of the touchpad until you see an icon in the screen that it was unlock

thats not worked, any other ideas? having to use a wireless mouse which really doesnt work on a book!!

reinstall synaptic touchpad in recovery manager.

 

click on start > type recovery in the search box under all programs > click on hp recovery manager from the search list > click on yes if it ask you if you allow program to make changes > under need immediate help click on drivers and applications reinstallation > put a check on the box on the left side of toucpad driver and click on install at the bottom right part of the window
