Screen is blank.  Laptop seems to work OK when hooked to an outside monitor.  Screen just failed to light up when started.  There was no warning of any kind.  Just did not come on at startup. Is this something I can fix myself or is it a candidate for the junkyard.email is [Moderator edited email]

Sir, I have face the same problem with my hp envy4 1058tx sleekbook.
The Caps Lock button blinking sequence is 3 times in a row & the F12(connectivity) button is remains orange all the time.

I grasp that your notebook did an auto shut down and now when you try to power it back on you get a black screen and the Caps Lock is blinking 3 times.
