I have an hp Envy dv6 notebook PC and it has the "select boot image did not authenticate" problem. I have press enter and it completely shuts down. What should I do to correct this problem?

is there any method to solve this without turning on legacy boot
"select boot image did not authenticate"
this happened after trying to install ubuntu in legacy boot and then installed Windows 8 in legacy boot..now i want to go for UEFI for better performance
Model -HP Pavilion 15 (n005tx)
factory os windows 8
no way to recover original os

When I do the F2 reset and do the hard drive test it says
"smart check : passed
Long dst : failed
Failure ID : MC555T-6N17RB-MFPWWJ-61E203

hard drive 1.

Can anyone help with this problem

I only have three options and non of them are boot up key. It's:
Boot from file
And two others. How did you get bootup key.

I took the longer version of the memory test and I pasted the smart test but failed the long one my failure ID is: QCTQ62-8B88JO- MFPX7F- 61EV03
