Re: Any Day Upgrade

Are you upgrading to Ultimate or Pro.  Or are you upgrading from 32bit to 64 bit?  Vista to Win7?

Re: Any Day Upgrade

here are some MS links on doing their upgrade

Can I upgrade from a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64-bit version of Windows or a 64-bit version of...

No. If you are currently running a 32-bit version of Windows, you can only perform an upgrade to another 32-bit version of Windows. Similarly, if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows, you can only perform an upgrade to another 64-bit version of Windows.                If you want to move from a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64-bit version of Windows or vice versa, you'll need to back up your files and then perform a Custom installation of the version of Windows you want to install. did you already check to see if you qualify for the HP one http://www.hp.com/country/us/en/mda/windows7/upgrade/index_ww.html
