I have a problem with the audio bar. with windows 7 home premium (originally installed) When I change the volume with the touch volume bar on the display I have a bar that show me the level of volume. Now with windows 7 professional I can't see this bar.
I have install quick lunch utility but nothing change.

Hi,
If you don't already have any MediaSmart software installed, download and install HP MediaSmart DVD on the link below.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48296
After the installation has complete ( or if you already have MediaSmart application installed ) download and install HP MediaSmart Smart Menu on the link below - this will provide the OSD facility.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501-47000/sp46762
After this installation has completed, restart the notebook.
Regards,

Hi,
Hold down the Windows Key and press R. Into the Run Box type msconfig and hit enter. On the System Configuration window, click the Start-up Tab.
Do you see an entry for HP MediaSmart SmartMenu here?
If you do, does the box next to the entry have a tick in it?
Regards,
DP-K

Hi,
If you don't still have the HP MediaSmart SmartMenu installer, download it again and save it to your Downloads folder.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501-47000/sp46762
Next, open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP MediaSmart SmartMenu and select Uninstall. When this has completed, restart the notebook.
Now download and install 7-Zip, when installed, open your Downloads folder right click the HP MediaSmart SmartMenu installer, select 7-Zip, select Extract Files and click OK.
Open the newly extracted folder, open HPSmartMenu, open hp, open tmp, open Src, right click SmartMenuSetup32 and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.
NOTE: If you have a 64bit installation, choose SmartMenuSetup64.
When this has completed, restart the notebook once again.
Regards,
DP-K
