Bought an HP laptop from Walmart about 4 months ago...only identifying marks are on the laptop say 2000...not Presario or Pavillion just 2000...nothing on the bottom...came preloaded with Wondows 7 home prem.....Got the BSOD an tracked every website down and gave this info -

Every site says the HDD is bad. Sooooooo...I replaced the drive and tried to load Windows 7 Home Prem. and I get the same message. I ran diag. on the ram and the new drive and comes up clean....even tried to load XP and more of the same....any help would be appreciated

It should have a 1 year warranty with HP, go to the link below and use "chat with online support" to register your notebook purchase with HP, once registered (may yake 2 weeks for registration process to complete) you can get it repaired under warranty.
