I'm facing Blue Screen (BS) problem with my HP dv2910tx laptop with pre-installed Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit). The error details are given below. I face this error every time try to run a full system scan using Norton Internet Security 2010. The blue screen appears while the antivirus program is running a full system scan.
I tried to use System Restore to revert my laptop to various restore points available after I check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points. The last resort is to use my recovery disc but I don’t want to burn the house because the flush is out of order.
Please help.

Hi,
Go to:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump
and pack all files from there with 7zip(free) or WinRar.
Upload this packed file on any server (example: mediafire) and post here link to it.
This way we will try to find out what is causing Your BSOD issue.

Hi again,
This BSOD is caused by iaStor.sys file which is part of Intel Matrix Storage Manager software.
To solve this problem uninstall this program from Your system.

I couldn’t locate Intel Matrix Storage Manager in my list of installed programs. I went to device manager and here is a snapshot of the same.

Do you want me to go ahead and install latest version of Intel Matrix Storage Manager?
