Boot Device Not FOund

HI, 

I have the same problem with my hp pavilion dv6 1105ee.. i already did reseating HDD from its cable and it doesn't work and run a test on my hard disk, at the short test it says test is pass and then when the long test is running i feel like that it is hanging, and it is in 00% complete after an hour it says hard disk full. can you pls help me with this problem. pls. thank you in advance

I have a new Lap top and when I try to start it message is Boot device not found ,Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard disk  (3fo.  ) f2 System Diagnostics

plese visit ww. hp.com\go techcenter start \startup. I find this hard to do since I can not start the laptop. or put it on line . Thanks for help

The music was playing when sudenly my HP notebook stopped working. I made reboot, after 10 minut tried again to log on there is messages like boot device not found.

Please install an operating system on your hard disk.

Hard disk (3FO) and I do not have any CD this time.

How can I install or upload information on my hp notebook once my desk top is not oppening

Did anybody change the hard disk and install new operating system..

Because my problem has solved when i changed with a new hard drive.

Hi I have a compaq laptop CQ62 and I tried taking out the hard drive and putting it back in. And the same error saying hard disk test failed and boot device not found keeps occuring.. IS there anything I can do? I have all my files saved and I really do not want to lose them.

Listen to Cimhawaii. I have an HP 8560w with a solid state drive and I have experienced this problem occassionally over the last 6 months. Each time, I pressed and held the power button for 30 seconds and each time doing so has fixed my problem.

Give it a shot. If it does not work, please reply saying that you have at least tried it.

I'M A PHOTOGRAPHER BY PROFESSION. MY HARD DRIVE HAS BEEN FORMATTED, HOW DO I RECOVER MY FILES BACK WHEN THERE WAS NO BACKUP? PLEASE I NEED QUICK REPLY CAUSE I JUST LOST SOME ONES WEDDING PIX THAT I SNAP.
