I have a dv9620us running factory installed Vista Home Premium. I can only boot my notebook by tapping the F10 key right after I hit the power on. After several taps on the F10, I will get the HP Splash and then it will slowly proceed to the windows log on. After trying to reorder the boot device (F9). I also noticed my Boot Menu choices 1 and 2 are missing. The only choice that remains is the 3. Notebook......How do I remedy the start up to its original configuration? How do I restore the other two boot choices in the boot choice menu? I have already tried factory restore and recovery disks. (I have NO installation disks as this OS was factory installed). I will spare you my editorial comments on this notebook. Thanks to all!
