I just bought an HP Elite m9790be pc. There are no cd/dvd's delivered with it.
Only a recovery partition.
I did a clean install of Windows 7 RC on the boot partition (kept the recovery partition).
But how do I get my HP applications (e.g. cd/dvd writer software) back?
On the website, I can only find drivers.

HP computers come with software to make your Recovery DV/DVD set.Had you made that set you could probably have browsed it to find your installers. Or had you copied the folder C:\HP with drivers/software installers before formatting with Win 7,you culd have used that.
Now...unless someone comes up with a better idea...you will have to look for alternate replacement software, or contact HP for a Recovery set.
