I'm not certain if this is the correct forum to ask this question, but I'll give it a try! I have an HP Pavillion g7-1019wm Notebook PC - my first laptop. It has Windows 7 & Internet Explorer 9. On my old computer - Windows XP - I was able to send greeting cards on Facebook using Birthday Calendar and American Greetings. I can't do that on my new computer ... any suggestions? I would appreciate any help you can give me ... I'm not very computer saavy!

You can upgrade your Notebook PC and install a new program. But, as far as I know, you can still enjoy the Facebook apps even it was Internet Explorer 9. Many of us balked when employers started using credit scores as part of their job-screening process. But the line between personal privacy and job requirement is continuing to blur. Now, according to unrelated sources, many universities and employers expect candidates to give up their Facebook passwords as part of the pre-screening process. Everything was working fine on my facebook account until a few days ago. I can't see the chat box of who's online. When I click on certain boxes (delete someone's game post, make myself available for online chat, the play button for games) nothing happens. My guess is that I'm missing a plugin or script.
I tried doing this on safari, firefox, explorer, and chrome, still nothing happens when I click some things on facebook. I tried restoring my computer, no changes. I tried using the computer at home, work, and school, no changes. So it doesn't seem to be my new computer specific, in order to have it I applied for a faxless payday loan. Here's the kicker.... when I sign on with an alternate facebook account (that I rarely use) everything is there. The chat box, I can click on things and they work, play the same game, etc.... no problems.
