Hello slpyjim:
Welcome to Windows 7 say good buy to out look now. Microsoft no longer supports or maintains it. New version for it is Windows Live Mail just use your old email account when you sign into it. Go to your programs list Click on Windows Live folder you will see it listed. You may have just lost your emails from previous email account. I read in the forum where costomers complained about it. When the switch was made. So don't be surprised if it happens. Please click on kudos if this helps you. Thank you frrw

Office 2007 Professional when installed as 64 bit on a Windows 7 system has problems with Outlook. When installed as 32 bit on a Windows 7 system Outlook usually works. Previously created 32 bit word, excel and powerpoint documents and files also have problems with 64 bit versions of Office 2007 or 2010. Support for Outlook Express was dropped by Microsoft. Outlook is still supported.
