Cannot run HP ystem diagnostics UEFI

Can anyone help I have a HP Pavilion DV1000 with Windows XP Home Edition and I need to re caibrate my battery that never fully charges. i have downloaded the system diagnostic tool UEFI bur it will not run????

Your laptop does not support UEFI. I believe this is what you need:
