Compaq Presario V6200CTO (same as RK664AV) where can I get the XP drivers??? [ Edited ]

The official XP drivers support page for this model http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=2511212

has no drivers whatsoever for the following components:

- driver audio

- driver chipset

- driver graphics

- driver modem

- driver storage

PRETTY ODD suport, isn't it? There is a full set of Vista drivers, which I don't need (and they won't work for XP).

Please provide a pace to get them from.

I haven't tested, but most of these notebooks have the same hardware so it should .. if you run into trouble with a driver they wont harm the computer so just post back with the driver you need that didn;t work .. then we can get you one that works

Actually all the DV & V models under x500,such as your V6200 are pretty easy.You can use XP drivers from V6000 series,which has full XP drivers posted.

If you have AMD processor,use V6000Z drivers, if you have Intel processor use drivers from V6000T. Always install Chipset driver first.For audio install MS UAA first & reboot before Conexant Audio.Others can be done in any order.

I used the F7500US_XP drivers package. The ethernet driver inf file gave me "no information about your equipment" and Atheros wireless driver did not match my equipment neither. I used Compaq SP34152 file for wireless.

However in the device manager I still have 3 YELLOW other devices lines:

- HP Integrated Module

- Unknown device

- Other device on PCI bridge
