Which app is giving you the error report? Have you entered BIOS and run Diagnostics test of the hdd?

Window says it has found an error in my hard disc smart drive--the following information is provided to help the hardware technical person diagnose the hard disk with errors.

 

Disc name:  TOSHIBA MK3265GS

Volume: C:\D:\E:\

Run chkdsk on the hdd as outlined here.Directions are for Vista_but all versions of Windows has it:
