I have HP Pavilion DV6t-1200 notebook with preinstalled Win Vista Home Premium 64-bit. Recently i've upgraded it to Windows Seven 64-bit (clean install) and my buit-in webcam fails to work. I had installed all drivers, soft and even BIOS new version from HP site, but camera still doesn't work... In the Device Manager camera defines as HP WebCam and shows that it works properly: Microsoft driver usbvideo.sys version: 6.1.7600.16385 and equipment's ID: USB\VID_5986&PID_0180&REV_0003&MI_00, but aplications (Skype for example) say: "can't use HP WebCam as it (or could be) used by other application". It is notable that with HP MediaSmart Webcam program i can have access to camera... I've searched this forum, but didn't find any solution. Who knows how to solve this matter? Please help me to fix this problem or at least to force to work camera in Skype?
PS I had posted this question in Hardware Board, but got no answers...

I am experiencing the exact same problem as of the Windows7 updates this week. Also tried to download the drivers on the HP website but they didn't work either... ![]()
