Does anyone know what an ( npcLU.loc ) LOC File is and can I delete it without causing a problem? I have uninstalled Norton , but when I enter Symantec in the start menu I get 2 of these files. Thanks

Hi,
Its not a system file, therefore its OK to delete it without causing any problem to the system
if its a norton left-over file its OK to delete it as well since its not in use anymore.
go ahead and do it, theres no risk.
just to make sure, though, for the future, make sure you backup your system every once in a while

Hi,
I recommend you to use Norton Removal Tool. There may still left some files in your system from this software. This will give you certainty that everything has been removed for sure.

It's not so big suprise for me.
By googling name of this file I found out that this is a Norton Protection Center LiveUpdate Plugin.
So as YanirSchwartz wrote manual delete of this files will be a good step and will not affect your system.
