Does my model have fax modem and if so how do i use the darn thing! [ Edited ]

my model number is dv7-3079wm. I was told from walmart.com that i could fax from my computer if i had a fax modem. I don't know if my  computer comes with one or not. If it does, how do i use the program and how to i know if i have analog or digital phone lines. I would like a step by step process.

Your laptop has a  RJ-11(#5 shown in picture below) port on right hand side of the notebook, where you can connect the telephone cable and use your laptop to send FAX to others.
