Does the Compaq Presario CQ41 support 64 bit OS?

I went into a chain retailer and I noticed the Compaq Presario CQ41 was running Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit, but had 4gb of ram installed (which it couldn't fully utilise). I asked the stafff why and they said HP/Compaq notebooks can't run 64 bit.

Does the Compaq Presario CQ41 support 64 bit so it can utlilise the full 4gb of ram?

The Compaq Presario CQ41 will also support a 64-bit Windows 7 O/S.
