Since you appear to be ignoring my replies_I assume none of the drivers I posted worked for you? Sorry, I was feelng surely that the 'unknown device- ACPI\HPQ0006\2&DABA3FF&0 would be solved with>>

Sorry for not answering on Your posts but I see then Cheryl gave You drivers that You need. I wasn't supporting forum for last days.

 

If this chipset driver will solve Your problem I recommend reinstalling Your system and installing it as the first one with reboot. Always install chipset drivers first on fresh system.

If driver will not help let us know. Someone will reply. :smileywink:

The SM Bus Controller driver worked out somehow. I used Radarsync and it upgraded my intel chipset drivers, and the SM Bus driver got loaded.
