Hi,
i know that there are many threads concerning this issue, but i can´t cope with it. I am tryin to Install Windows XP SP2 on my HP Notebook DV6-1199EG, but without success. I read many articels of your forum about it, but I don´t get it work.
Can you help me please?
The problem is, that XP Setup crases before you can choose one partition to Install XP. I have tried to integrate the AMD SATA AHCI drivers into my XP CD using n-lite, but it also didn´t work.
In my laptop there is a AMD Chipset called RS780 (North Bridge) and a ATI SB700 (South Bridge). Do i have the wrong drivers or have i made something wrong?
The bluescreen i get has the following Error Code: 0x000000007B, 0x78D2524 when I try to Install with a SP2 CD or a SP3 CD with integrated drivers. When I try a Win XP Pro CD without SP, then i get the following code: 0x00000007B, 0xF78DA63C
Please help me, because I need XP on my laptop because of many programs, that don´t run under vista.
Regards from Bavaria (Germany)
Markus

This thread would be good for your reference.
I recommend you to use XP-SP2, in Nlite, choose the option of insert from multiple driver folder, and ONLY choose ONLY x86 driver when asked.
Start from the begining,
1. Copy XP-SP3 to harddisk
2. Slipteamed amd sata driver (recommended to use mediafire link)
3. Burn it slowly.
Good luck
