Re: Driver CQ45-102TX for XP pro

Hi Mr. Rakhmad, I also bought CQ45-102TX and have suceed installing Win XP Pro SP2 (without drivers).

And I want to continue to instal the drivers.

Can you help me by giving the newest tutorial since there are many changes since your last tutorial for Asdan.

Thanks a lot.

Re: Driver CQ45-102TX for XP pro

A minute a go I try to instal the drivers using the tutorial you gave to Asdan: this is the sequence:

Instal Intel chipset  OK

Instal Nvidia graphic driver OK

Instal MS UAA OK

Instal IDT Audio (sp41693.exe)  - Error, no device

I try to instal KB888111 and then it's start to recognize the HD Audio.

And then I install the sp41693.exe and the result is the driver works. Sound come out from my CQ45-102TX.

But everytime I reboot, the driver is lost. It is happening evertime I repeat the routines.

Can you help me? (I already update the BIOS to F.24) using the link you gave.

Thanks

Re: Driver CQ45-102TX for XP pro

Mr Agus, based on my experience. You must downgrade your bios to F11.E version, because there is some compatibility issues when you install XP.

You an try.

Try Kamicat's solution for Audio with Devcon:

Re: Driver CQ45-102TX for XP pro

Bang Asdan, thanks for your quick reply. According to what I've heard, downgrading BIOS is very risky. Could you give me the tutorial and tools to downgrade BIOS to F.11E correctly. Because I don't wanna loose my laptop that cost me 2 years of saving.
Thanks.

Re: Driver CQ45-102TX for XP pro

Bang Agus, that bios version has inside flash software so you can downgrade bios inside windows. So you just double click that file like install other application. After flash the bios, laptop will automatically shutdown. After turn on again laptop, you can check your bios version. Just make sure your laptop has full battery and connect the power to AC. Good luck.

Re: Driver CQ45-102TX for XP pro

There is no F11 BIOS posted for your model, which means you will be using a BIOS from another.Use at your own risk!
