In HP Support and Assistance on my dv6 3250us a update is listed for Intel Wireless Driver for Microsoft Windows 7. The problem is that when I install it it causes Intel My Wifi to stop working. I posted this this to help anyone with this problem and to alert hp to the problem. I found a way to solve this issue. First, if you already installed the update and have the same issue you need to use hp recovery manager to get to Microsoft System Restore to undo the update. Then you can go to Intel to get the update directly from them by using the Intel Driver Update Utility to automatically identify and find drivers. This is the link to that http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/ . After you run that then download the driver and it should be updated to the latest version and still function properly. Hopefully HP will fix their driver download which does not function properly.
