Hi
I get a Error Code 43 when I connect a USB device to my Pavilion Dv62120TX - win7, the pc claims the device has failed. The device operates correctly (device OS is upto date and operates WinCE) has been checked and connects to other pcs running both vista and Win7. It also connected to my old pc which was XP and worked fine.
I have tried,
- uninstalling USB controllers through devmgr,
- checked all USB ports they work correctly and have other devices such as printer, HDD connected
- disconnected power and removed battery
- re-installed OS following advice from HP
- all patches and drivers are upto date
None of the above have made any difference, assistance is appreciated.

Code 43 error might occur if the chipset drivers are not correct. I request you to try installing the chipset drivers from the following weblink:

Hi
Thanks for the info, the pc now finds the device although each time I connect it fails. Through device mgr I uninstall then scan for new harware, it will then find the device following a restart with the device connected. Although it still thinks it has failed with an error 43; and I cannot do anything further with it.
Port_#0001.Hub_#0003
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
Is all that is reported, any further advice greatly appreciated.

I just went through the same problem with a new HP LaserJet M1522nf
Tech Support insisted I had to solve this WINDOWS problem, and directed me to GOOGLE for God's sake, and insisted it was not an HP problem, therefore the warranty did not apply.
Case number 4622168531
I tried this machine on two new Windows 7 machines. Other HP printers work fine on them.

Hello,
I am also facing the same problem for Pavilion g4-1321tx. Will it work for this product also. Incidently I have been trying to contact HP Support ( worst in the world) for half a day to solve this problem for me.
Kindly reply asap. My emai is milshim@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Milind
