Ethernet Controller help for D325

I am trying to install an older D325 microtower desktop that I would like to set up for my kids' use. We reformatted this computer and re-installed WinXP Pro. I am unable to connect to the Internet .There is a conflict at the Ethernet Controller setting in Device Manager. I d/l the NVIDIA Chipset Support drivers from HP's website, but the conflict still remains. I don't see any other drivers that would help to repair this issue. On the motherboard I see printed SKYHAWK D33007 AGP. Elsewhere is Nvidia nforce2 MCP-T. Honestly, I don't know which of these (if either) is the name of the motherboard, but I tried to Google both and can't seem to come up with the proper drivers. What am I doing wrong and can anyone help point me to the correct fix? Thanks in advance.

Re: Ethernet Controller help for D325

Yea, I've been to that site and d/l both 3com driver options, but it was of no help. Do I need to d/l and install EVERY driver that is listed? I have not done any others, but maybe that's the problem??

Re: Ethernet Controller help for D325

Go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Devices Manager

Click with right button of Your mouse on each yellow sign and choose properties. Then go to bottom details and paste here device id. This way we will know what it is.
