Familiar Story - Creating Recovery DVD - TouchSmat TX2

I bought a brand new TouchSmart TX2 with Vista Home Premium.. I didn't create the recovery media..

I deleted the C: partition and created two new partitions (C & D) using my own Vista Ultimate DVD.. but I didn't touch the RECOVERY partition at all..

Now I decided to restore the laptop to original factory settings.. I went through the posts here and tried to make the RECOVERY partion "ACTIVE" using Disk Management console then I rebooted the laptop several times with and without pressing F11 but the recovery manager failed to start and I only got my installed Vista at the startup..

Is it possible to make use of the RECOVERY patition to restore my laptop to factory settings again??

Please help.. and thanks in advance

to the best of my knowledge no. You will need to contact HP to pay the shipping/handling/material for a set of recovery media. IF you are in the united states the price can range from 14.95 ground to 26.95 next business day. Canadian is more expensive.
