I have a HP 620 notebook (WK350EA with F.05 BIOS), it comes with Suse Linux preinstalled.
I tried to install Win7 and it was OK, I tried other Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian) and they works well.
When I tried to install MeeGo via USB key, the BIOS remained blocked trying to search a boot device. I thought it was normal, as MeeGo is a netbook OS and possibly not compatible with notebooks.
But when I try to install Fedora 14 via CD, the BIOS hangs the same way as before (with the optical unit spinning always at full speed and the CAPS LOCK led flashing).
I checked the CD and it was ok (it boots on other PCs and MD5 matches)
I changed various option in the BIOS (UEFI type) but no luck.
I found also that MeeGo is based on Fedora.
Considering all those things, I think it's a BIOS problem that "crashes" with Fedora boot sector and it needs to be updated with a new working version (but a temporary workaround is also very appreciated).
Do I need to contact technical support to report this bug or someone will read it here?
Thanks.

if nobody cannot help me, someone could tell me where to get official support from HP? I searched but I cannot find an online form or an email for technical support...
