Fix issue with Consumer IR Devices of the System Devices

Hello,

 

How could I fix an issue with the Consumer IR Devices of the System Devices on my HP Pavilion tx 2500 p/n KD480AV. I recently upgraded from Windows Vista (64 bit) to Windows 7 (64 bit) Ultimate and I am constantly having issues with my notebook since it freezes and when I try to reboot it turns off immediately on restart continuously. I have tried to update the Driver Software but It is up to date. What should I do???? Will really appreciate a solution to this problem...
