I have received my Toshiba Windows 7 upgrade, not once, but THREE times. They are using Fedex not DHL. Does anyone know if I can use one of these on my HP laptop? I have used one for my Toshiba, had no problems with the upgrade.

I wish I had read all these posts before calling Arvato to check on my order. As one person wrote, you'll be sorry when you do get through to Arvato.
I submitted my order and uploaded my documentation last month, and got instant approval. Since then it's been downhill. I can't believe it's taking this long to ket something processed and shipped within the US. I feel for my neighbors to the north.
I can't believe Arvato is using DHL. I have nothing against DHL, but I can't remember the last time I saw a DHL truck on the road. Fedex, UPS, the US postal service -- yest, but DHL.?
One customer rep got a bit short when I said this was unacceptable and that major online retailers manage to get their goods to customers within a reasonable amount of time, despite the high volume.
HP and Microsoft owe its customers better than this, even if the upgrade is at no cost.. I don't know who was involved in setting this up but it's involving their products. Why do we have to jump through hoops to get an upgrade to correct a bad operating system. I thought I was in the clear; I bought windows 7 upgrade professional, but I can't get from vista home preimum to windows 7 pro without going through windows 7 home premium. Hope it's worth it when I finally get the kit and install the new software.
Don't get me started on the site map needed to decide on a version of windows 7.
I know apple likes its profit margin, but it might be worth looking at a price restructure. Because after this, I would consider a mac -- if I could afford one.

Working on two months of calls to support and arvato to try to get my TOSHIBA 64 premium upgrade. If we need to form a clearinghouse for disks shipped for the wrong machine I would be happy to star it. I keep reading that DELL was able to get the disks out but HP and Toshiba and Acer are stuck in the arvato digital services log jam. Oh I got disks but for HP not Toshiba. The upgrade page never changed status from in process so I am still trying. Toshiba support suggested that I go to fedex and return the shipment to have them routed back to the source of our pain. I found the fedex man who drives our area and had him route them back. I may write to the address on the disks to see if an actual human can be contacted. Hey this upgrade is worth $120 of retail value to me but Microsoft sells the full version at more like $50 wholesale so why don’t HP and Toshiba just let us have the OEM license for a full copy if we have done our penance by calling for a month or more. Is there a class action suit or an ftc action against them?

Well I wish I had read this board prior to trying to upgrade to windows 8. Arvato Digital Services took my money then did not deliver the upgrade. Microsoft says they can do nothing as payment was made to Arvato Digital Services. Made payment through Paypal have filed a complaint, will have to wait and see, but it sound like Microsoft has a thief as a business partner / agent.

I just upgraded to Win8 Pro but went to MS directly AFTER the release. My prior experience with ARVATA was a nightmare and I swore I would never do it again. They eventually come through but it's always been a nightmare

Ok, so I had the same problems. Anyone dealing with this company needs to do the following: Email: salesinfo@arvatousa.com, twitter@arvato.de and make sure to include the details of the transaction and subject "ISSUE REFUND IMMEDIATELY". I found their twitter to be more reliable than their website for customer service :\
