Hello,

 

this solution works fine. It's temporaly, waiting for an update of media smart menu.

 

Uninstall ToneControl driver, and install MediaSmart menu 2. It's explain in this post.

No, that does [b]not[/b] work.

 

You still still get the strange looking GUI when you use the Treble/Bass buttons.

 

I have that installed - eject works, but buttons don't actually work - it pops up a broken graphic, as shown in the OP's post.

doobix i can help u with this problem, the software for the hp tone controle that hp website provided isnt working for alote of ppl , i got the original software and this is how it should look like http://i820.photobucket.com/albums/zz129/whiteboyshady/tonecntrl.png

 

is there anyway i could send u the software for the tone controle just let me know cous i dont know how to upload software on the internet and stuff the file is 132KB

ok i just sent you the email make sure to install your version either 64bit or 32bit

 

and people i got my eject button to work to with the new media smart menu

now everything is working for me if u need help email me at

im not an hp employee and i got nothing to do with hp

Hi, I've been having the same exact problem. the only thing screwed up now is my treble and base GUI graphic. If you could send the file to me as well I would appreciate it!

I have the same problem on my HDX 18....the treble and bass buttons produce a garbled display.

 

Maybe WendyM could provide a solution instead of deleting the addresses in the posts???????
