Re: HELP NEED DRIVER HP Pavilion g4 1214tx

Hi:

Please go into the device manager and click on each device that needs drivers one at a time.

Then click on the Details tab.

In the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

Those will identify the model of the devices, and I will send you the links to the drivers you need.

This software package should get your camera to work.

Re: HELP NEED DRIVER HP Pavilion g4 1214tx

Hi:

OK, you are close. Now you found the network controller and the PCI device.

1. Click on each one of them one at a time.

2. Click on the Details tab

3. You now see a window with a line that says Property and it is Hardware Description.

4. Drop down on that hardware description and you see a long list of things.

5. Select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Now you should see a string of characters that looks something like this:

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4370&SUBSYS_30A4103C&REV_02
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4370&SUBSYS_30A4103C
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4370&CC_040100
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4370&CC_0401

Copy and post just the top line of that ID. I don't need all four lines.

Those will give me information on the type and model of the devices needing drivers and I can send you the links to them.

Paul
