Hello everyone,
I am looking for some help on completely restoring my father's laptop.
It is an HP G60-630US with Windows 7 Home Premium
Note that I do not have a set of recovery disk. I tried to create a set by using the "Recovery Disk Creation" program, but for some reason that option is not available. I do not remember ever making a set, so Im not sure why I can't now. When I go to "System Recovery" under the "Recovery Manager" it says "Your computer does not have a Recovery Partition". I think that my dad may have accidently deleted the partition while going through the files on this laptop. Finally I tried recoverying by pressing f11 once the system starts up, but another error appears, this one saying something along the lines of BOOTMRG is missing, press crtl+alt+delete to restart.
There are no files on this laptop that I care for, and would appreciate any help I can get towards factory restoring this laptop.
Is there a way to restore a laptop without both a partition and recovery disk? I read that HP sells extra disk for fairly cheap (<$30) and wouldn't mind purchasing one if someone could link it.
Thank you

HP should come up with a feature where you can restore your laptop to its factory state without using any recovery disc. I have seen this feature only in HP Minis.

I just ordered one yesterday! Hopefully it comes in soon and works. Are these disks one time use, or can I use them multiple times?

Recovery Disks can be used multiple times on your laptop.
