Re: HOW TO CREATE RECOVERY PARTITION IN WINDOWS 7

The Recovery Partition Can only be created using Original Recovery disk....Your notebook was originally Shipped with Windows Vista...So you will need to install Vista Back but once you install Windows 7 back the recovery partition will not work....

HP does not provide a way to do what you want. You will need to use 3rd party software to back up your Operating System.

Re: HOW TO CREATE RECOVERY PARTITION IN WINDOWS 7

So let me understand this correct, are you looking to create recovery partition like the one that came with the notebook but should have windows 7 or do you want the recovery partition that originally came with the notebook?

Either use the builtin imaging for 7 or try  my choice Custom Recovery Options
