HP G42 Series Notebook Wireless and LAN Card Drivers for Windows XP OS required .

Hi,

 

I need to download the Wireless and LAN Card drivers for HP G42 Notebook. I am using Windows XP Operating System.

 

Below are the Hardware ID for which I need the Drivers.

 

                               PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_1425103C&REV_02\4&1D521A10&0&00E1


                               PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_1483103C&REV_01\4&2046277B&0&00E0

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727 is a Broadcom wifi card, but I don't know which one exactly. Try these drivers:

http://www.wireless-driver.com/broadcom-wireless-windows-driver-v5100-578/

The second 10EC&DEV_8136 is a Realtek RTL8101E/RTL8102E NIC:

http://www.downloadwindowsdrivers.info/pci/ven_10ec/dev_8136/subsys_1425103c/

My notebook model number is G42-477TU. I downloaded the Broadcom driver from the above website but not working. Everything else is working fine except the Wireless Driver. My operating system is windows xp.

Thanks to all.

 

 

Finally I found the Broadcom wireless LAN driver for g42-477 TU notebook from this forum. This driver was suggested to somebody who has a g42-352 series notebook.

 

The driver which worked for me is sp46171.

Once again thanks for all your support.
