HP Mini 110-1022NR PC- Blue Screen Error Message - Unmountable _Boot_Volume

I have this HP Mini 110- 1022NR PC  the Os is Windows XP  It was running perfect one moment and the next it shuts down and keeps restarting  I managed to stop the constant restarts by pressing F8 and using the "Stop auto restart after system failure " option and discovered I was getting a blue screen which reads UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME .

The Technical Information reads

I have to mention I have restarted it and removed battery also I have removed the hard drive and remounted it. It isnt working at all still giving same error message I tried F11 and F2 and F5 even tried it with Ctrl + the F11 and using all the other F's combined and separate I have also tried the power button combines with the Zero key and also the R key  to no avail. I did not get a chance to create a backup drive since I have only received this laptop. This particular laptop has no cd drive and I can not seem to find any option to purchase a Backup USB. What do you recommend I do?

First backup any imprtant data you don't want to lose, 

Connect the unbootable hard drive to another PC using a USB to hard drive adapter, then copy off your important data.

Once your data is safe, run a chkdsk on the hard drive while it is connected to the other PC, once chkdsk is finished, put it back in the Mini and see if it will boot now.

How to perform chkdsk, with the drive connected, open Explorer (Win key + E)

Right click on the drive letter for the unbootable drive and select properties, when that window opens click the Tools tab, then hit "check now", another window will open, check both boxes in that window and hit the Start button. you may get a message that it cannot perform chkdsk until the next reboot, click Ok to that message and restart the PC, it will check and attempt repairs on the hard drive before windows loads, it may take some time to complete do not interrupt the process, when it is done Wndows will load, then you can safely remove the usb device from the PC and install the drive back in the mini.
